Scholarships for high school senior women

Soroptimist International of Williamsburg is an international organization of business and professional women, whose mission is to improve the lives of women and girls. Three scholarships will be awarded in 2024. The first place recipient will receive $3,500.00. The two runner up scholarship awardees will each receive $1,500.00. Scholarships are offered to graduating senior women from Lafayette, Bruton, Jamestown, Warhill and Kecoughtan High Schools each spring. These five schools represent the high schools in the areas that our members live and work.

The recipients must be planning to attend a four-year college or university, or one of the certified state-supported community colleges with the intention of transferring to a four-year college. The students must be in good academic standing and demonstrate a financial need.
